An early morning village scene waking up with the rays of sunlight. A lazy cow dreading the soon usual morning action. The idea was to bring out vibrant colours to a picture that may be overlooked by anyone who may have seen this place…
   
   
Night time is often the most peaceful time of the day, with a picture of a lush green meadow and trees dancing in the moonlight, it’s something I often dream of after a busy action packed day.

The lines that inspired me on this painting were:

"The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep..."

The Buddha is shown here is his peaceful state. Just wanted to focus on his eyes which are in a deep and a relaxed state of meditation. The disciples are shown walking towards him depicting the path of truth that we all are striving to head towards, or will, at some point in our lives…
